STREAM CHALLENGE – This Sunday at 9am CST

I wanted to tell you guys (the world) or whoever visits my website (no one) that I am going to attempt and break into the world of streaming… as a job. Am I crazy or what!? Yeah, no really, I’m completely serious. I’ve been watching many streams in-between study sessions and rehearsals,  and now that I’m done my second year of university, I want to stream… games. Over the last few weeks I’ve been doing research and setting up the proper tools and equipment to do it viably, and I’m just about there.

I know it won’t be easy, and it is somewhat of a long-shot. But hey, I’ve got the will and the equipment to do it, so why not give it a go? This Sunday, April 20, 2014, marks the the first day of my one week trial stream challenge. What’s a stream challenge? It’s when a streamer streams every single day for a long-ass time for a set number of days, without a break. One week is on the short end of the scale, as many streams tend to go for three months or longer. That’s why I threw “trial” in front of it. Essentially, if this first week of streaming works out to some extent in that I get a small following, I will extend it by another week… and so on.

So, starting this Sunday, April 20, 2014, at 9:00am CST, I will be streaming video games for literally 9 hours straight. 9 HOURS! Every single day, for 7 days straight. So tune in at and follow me, chat with me, and if you like what you see, toss a buck or two my way. It goes a long way in supporting me and you will win my eternal love. <3

There will also be giveaways! That’s right! I’m calling them “giftaways” because, well, I’m just so clever, and they are open to all viewers, but you must be watching in order to get a chance to win.

You can watch the stream here on my site, or hit that link:

My first week will be an Assassin’s Creed marathon. I will be playing from the beginning of Assassins Creed: Revelations all the way to the end of Assassin’s Creed 4. That’s three full games, unless the viewers decide they want to see something else. If week one is successful, I will put up a poll for week two and let the viewers decide what I play.

So come watch and keep me company! What have you got to lose?

For those wondering, here’s a more in-depth look at my schedule for the currently planned stream challenge:

Chip Damage Anime Grand Prix 2013 Full Results

BWbJcKyIgAAh__IYesterday was Chip Damage’s first all air-dash fighter event. The Anime Grand Prix hosted tournaments for five different games: Arcana Heart 3, BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend, Skull Girls, Persona 4 Arena and Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R for a total of 13 players. Admittedly, this wasn’t the biggest turnout we’ve seen for our events but it didn’t stop our competitors and spectators from having a great time. We fully intend to hold more air-dash themed tournaments in the future so there’s plenty of room for this great event to grow. That Summer Tournament 7 – August 11-12

Visit TST.CHIPDAMAGE.COM for full info!

That Summer Tournament, better known as TST is Chip Damage’s biggest annual tournament we hold in August and have been for the last several years. Our roots are strong, comprised of our great community that has supported us through the thick and thin. But, this year, we are pushing it even further, making TST7 our biggest tournament to date. Bigger venue, more games, more prizes, more everything!

TST7 will NOT be taking place at the UofM as we have a NEW venue. Also, the event WILL be streamed all of Saturday and Sunday with the possibility of CDC Radio doing their 40th episode live! Be sure to follow us over at TWITCH.TV.

We got more good news!
TST 7 is an official Canada Cup 2012 Team Canada Wildcard Qualifier! The qualifier will be part of the AE2012 tournament that is happening at TST 7. This is open to Canadian players only.

If you win our AE2012 tournament, you qualify for the Wildcard 4 man tournament that will take place at Canada Cup on Oct 26th-28th in Calgary, AB. If you win THAT tournament, you will earn the 5th spot on Team Canada in the Canada Cup International 5v5 team tournament! Also, 50% of your plane ticket will be covered by CCG themselves!

Be aware that the Team Canada roster is comprised of 5 players with no character duplicates. This means if another qualifier tournament has run and a player using your character has already qualified, this automatically disqualifies the ability for the winning character to be used by anyone else. As CCG.Air is Team Captain, RYU is already locked. If a player using an already qualified character wins, the qualifying spot will be passed on to the next eligible placing player.

Just when you thought this couldn’t get any more hyped, we got word down the grapevine that there may be a little somethin’ somethin’ from Winnipeg’s very own Strata Studios! Our lips are sealed… just be sure to stick around, even when all the games are said and done.

As promised. This year’s TST will be taking place outside the UofM. It has been confirmed for Canad Inns on Pembina by the Tavern if you’re familiar. Here’s the full address and the room number:
