March to Battle 2020 (March 14th, 2020)

ChipDamage and Games on Campus are proud to present March to Battle! Our first full tournament of the year!

All ages are welcomed but anyone under the age of 18 requires a parent/guardian to sign our event waiver. Some M-Rated tournament games will be ran at the event.

Join us at the University of Manitoba, University Centre, March 14th for March to Battle!

This is a Bring Your Own Controller/Console event.

  • All competitors are responsible for bringing their own peripherals required to play their game
  • All matches will enforce a 5 minute rule and if the player is unable to obtain the necessary equipment, they will be disqualified or sent to losers bracket.
  • Please have your own peripherals ready, or have someone that you can borrow from that will not cause conflicts with other tournament matches.
  • The “my friend is using my stick/pad” excuse does not exempt you from this as tournament matches need to run efficiently to stay on schedule.

Please feel free to bring your own setups or stations (PS4 and lagless monitor) to the venue but please note that priority will be given to stations intended for tournament play if space becomes limited.

Pre-Registration is not required, but is highly recommended as you will help brackets start sooner and give the TOs information to work with prior to the event and speed up the registration process. This information can also help us better schedule and accommodate future game lineups.

This is a Bring Your Own Console event. Please feel free to bring your own setups, stations, or controllers. Players of all skill levels are welcome to come out and have fun at the event whether by supporting their friends, playing for fun or competing in the tournaments. Anyone who likes fighting games is welcomed at our events!

If you have food at the venue, CLEAN UP YOUR OWN MESS it’s only fair!

The console equipment will be labeled and registered to ensure its safety. However, please be careful with your sticks. Furthermore, if you know you’re attending and you do not have a stick to use, make sure you have a friend who can donate. Please avoid sharing a controller with someone else who’s entering any event that you’re also in, we can’t hold up an entire tournament while you wait for a controller.

Please bring extension cords and power bars if you have them available!
