Baselan – Aftermath
The Baselan tournament proved to be a great success! Good games to all the participants that made it out and congratulations; it was one hell of a party!
First off I’d like to extend a personal thanks to all the people that made this event possible, the BL staff for providing a great venue and nYo and his lovely fiance for running all the nitty-gritty admin stuff. Thanks to ckasady for making sure the brackets ran smoothly and thanks to ShinAkuma who provided all the AV equipment. Match videos from the tournament can be found on his youtube channel here.

If you feel like you’ve heard these sayings before, well you’re right, you have. Mostly from my angry mouth after something stupid and utterly disgusting happens.
Now, we all have “Ugh” moments, it really just shows up in many competitive gamers. You really can’t stop yourself from going into an “Ugh” Moment. It’s just one…
Baselan – Prelude
With Baselan just a few days away, a bunch of us have been trying to find the time to get a little extra practice in. Personally, I’m just taking a quick break from SFIV practice (good games Bmike!) to get this out to you guys.
Firstly, I’m definitely not the greatest SFIV player in the group and I don’t claim to know any better than the next guy, I just want to share the experience I’ve had so far with my involvement in our scene.
The Baselan tournament will be our second ‘big’ tournament since SFIV’s launch. With that said, the competition will undoubtedly be tough and I’m expecting we’ll have a good turnout. Obviously, I’ve been trying to get the word out on the street about the tournament to…
